I don't think that any other control softwares can do much more than UCCNC.
In my opinion currently the UCCNC is the most configurable, expandable software on the market, with custom macroing in VB and C# languages, custom plugin-able, TCP remote interface, lots of built in plugins etc., built in screenset editor.
