So .2115 is not a stable release?

I'm considering different control software options for my RatRig Stronghold and is also wondering about UCCNC moving forward. The version numbering indicates that updates are mainly focused towards minor fixes, isn't there any plans of taking bigger leaps in development towards a version 1.3 OR even 2.0?

Well, what new features and options do you want?
I don't think that any other control softwares can do much more than UCCNC.
In my opinion currently the UCCNC is the most configurable, expandable software on the market, with custom macroing in VB and C# languages, custom plugin-able, TCP remote interface, lots of built in plugins etc., built in screenset editor.

I'm to fresh on this subject so it's too early for me to ask for any new functionality (if any is needed). Just humbly pointing out that version numbering sends a signal what's new, like Ver. x.y.z where x=Major, y=Minor, z=patch. And I would assume that new functionality is a major change..?

New functionality is always being added.
Do to the complexity if the software, I think, it's always more of a work in progress. If you wanted to call it a new version every time a feature was added, there's be a LOT of versions.
I think that when there were new version numbers in the past, it was due to major changes in how the software functioned "under the hood".

i use 2.115 still and its runing around 100 customer machines nicely.
i wont upgrade my customers until i have run a version for a year myself.
i watch the forum closely to see what has been added/ what bugs the new features have introduced.

agreed that the uccnc software is one of the easiest to "add to" and customise. that is why i use it.
it has expanded "rapidly" in features since i started using it before the ethernet controllers were made!

Then hopefully 1.2117 will be stable enough to make it the next stable release, or if not then it will be 1.2118.

So this was posted a year ago but still 1.2113 remain as the stable release posted on the website.

This means that the screenset file name defined in the .pro profile file does not exists, so verify that please.
