Can I use Probe Screen Plugin functions inside a Macro?

Postby srracer » Sun May 18, 2025 6:45 pm

I have recently switched to TTS tool holders and a digital probe to streamline my production part work flow. There are some probe functions I use frequently and I would like to put buttons on the main screen to execute the probe sequences I use the most.

Is it possible to call out the functions within the Probe plugin with specific settings (for example, the finding of the center of a post with specific retract distances)? I would like to use all of the settings within the probe screens (probe dia., etc).

It seems like a lot of extra wasted work to have to rewrite those procedures as a new custom macro.

Thanks,
Chris

You can simply create a new button (which calls the same field) or duplicate the button you are interested in and integrate it into the main screen, it is quite simple to do with "edit screen".
