Post pro Fusion bug??

Postby Algone » Wed Apr 02, 2025 6:58 pm

Hello, with my UC300ETH, I think I have a problem with Fusion's UCCNC post pro. Recently, I had two operations, one at constant peak and the other in parallel. When I launched these operations, I ended up with either a 12mm Z offset in positive, or negative (always 12mm), or no offset at all. It was completely random. I tried the same operations in Mach3 and I had no offset; everything was perfect. I compared the Gcodes, I deleted, just to see, the G43 Hx in the UCCNC Gcodes, and I no longer had any offsets.
Can someone explain?

Check the tool lengths in the tool table in both Mach3 and UCCNC, and they are likely different.
Unless you are using an ATC with fixed tool lengths, you shouldn't be using G43.

If you don't have fixed length tooling, and you have to zero every tool, then there's no reason to use G43.

ok I understood, I had a 12mm offset on tool #6, I don't know why since I never recorded this offset, everything is ok, thank you very much for your help ;)
