Tips tricks.. recommended software you use

How about a new topic on the board. Software you use like CAD CAM and others, not in competition with UCCNC. Share your reviews of them, that kind of thing. Any tips you have that don't fit in other categories. Just a thought....

C'mon guys, my previous post was a joke!
Nobody else involved in this?

I was a Solidworks and Sprutcam user but now, when my activity in this domain is reduced, I switched on Onshape online cad solution.
Not tested the cam extension yet and for simple tasks I'm still using Aspire

Well seems like that idea died on the vine... doesn't appear to be any interest in this topic.....

Well, I've been thinking of asking for advice for a VMC mill I've been designing and there is no appropriate section here. I'm not even sure if I would get any answer here.
Maybe it could be a retrofit and new build section because the more CNCs, the more revenue for Cnc Drive. What do you think about it?

Builds? CNC builds? DIY machines?
Just my 2 cents...

It is a very large topic.
It can be a single sub forum like "My CNC - Retrofits - New builds" "Show us your CNC, your retrofit or talk about new designs or builds"

Or a forum with sub forums:
"CNC Machines"
->"My CNC"
->"CNC Retrofits"
->"New CNC Builds"
->"CNC DIY Accessories" (Probes, Handwheels, ATC, 3D Printed parts)
->"EDM Machines"
->"CNC Plasma" (existing sub forum)
->"What you've made with your machine post the pictures, videos here" (existing sub forum)

It depends on how much material there is gonna be and if it is important to keep it separated and sorted.
