ConnectionAliveSignal?

Postby Optimalisten » Sat Jun 14, 2025 6:49 pm

I have googles my eyes red byt cannot find any info around this.
Im running UCCNC 1.2118 against AXBB-E and need a "ConnetionAlive" output pin to turn on a 5VDC relay. As far as I figure I cannot use the ChargePump output since this is a PWM signal not meant to drive any relays. AI tells that there is no macro ready made for this which seem odd because this is such an basic function. Please help me find a solution; Do I need to create a custom macro for this or is there some funtion that I'm missing???

Can you setup an output trigger that looks at the charge pump output pin?

You want a 5VDC relay to activate when UCCNC is running and connected to the AXBB-E, indicating an active connection, and deactivate when the connection is lost or UCCNC is in a reset/error state. This is similar to a charge pump signal but needs to be a steady 5V signal for the relay.

Since no one else seem to know I will answer my own question:
It is possible to assign an output trigger to any output port and the trigger of interest in my case is the top-most of them all. No.1 indicates the status of output port #1 pin#1 (the charge pump signal).
So simple and easy ,,, but not easily found....

Sorry ger21, that was kind of what you mentioned but it wasn't clear enough to me at the time :)
