Thanks yesterday I made a direct fresh air hose adapter so that my lens stays cleaner. The hose goes to the side of my cabinet and I also placed a small 12 volt computer fan on the outside of the cabinet there, to get enough fresh air into the hose. I am now testing with 0.5 y axe and I load a picture directly in uccnc plugin no filters at all. I hope that the resolution becomes better.

Thank you for helping me like this

If it’s any help, I never get involved with d.p.i – I just download my photo or image (in the highest resolution I can) then (consistent with the UCCNC allowance) load it into the UCCNC Laser Engraving Plugin, select Grayscale (Laser mode 1), select the desired size and Y scan distance. Do a partial trial run to set my correct laser power level then go for it.

You don’t really need to see more of my work but I have attached my cardboard lasered cat image just for reference.

What is the wavelength of the laser you are using ?

What are your settings I try to do my best but I stay with little ditty picture.
I putt y on 0.04 and speed 1500.
What settings did you use ???

Testing white tiles but the trick is to find the right paint for it.

And the same one a ceramic Tile 148x148mm

I'm getting closer and closer to perfection, it is hard to learn but
I will go own. My Opt laser 6 watt with Uspot lens works perfect.
Today I made this tile 10x10cm
Further I go an tweak more to get better result and higher resolution.
