Arc Break

Postby Mcasey » Tue May 25, 2021 8:50 am

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a macro already written for an arc break while cutting, I have a wait for arc macro and that works fine, however, if the arc stops during a cut for whatever reason, the axis will keep running, has anyone got a fix for this?

You can uncheck the "Control THC even if not in THC mode" checkbox, then you machine will stop if the arc goes off while cutting.
It also causes the cut not to start until the arc comes on.

Mcasey, I’m having some wait for arc issues. Can you share that macro?

it's not a macro it's built in to uccnc as a function

enable the and try it with a simple switch or jumper wire toggling an input pin set as the ArcOk / arc transfer signal
