UC400ETH producing wrong pulses

Postby kljosc » Sun Jul 29, 2018 11:37 am

I have a UC400ETH controler and newest UCCNC which worked perfect the last 2 weeks ... Since yesterday with no change in configuration or hardware the +X and -Y moves simultaneus but not the slave A (2nd X axis). -X and -A works. +Y and -Y don't jog. Z is also erratic.
The controller is connected to the UCCNC BOB from cnc-technics. So I tested:

1. all 4 drivers are working fine by manually pulsing and reversing direction
2. BOB is working
3. configuration of pins ok (standard pins 2-9 port 1 for this BOB)
4. with eg. G0 X1000 F100 the naked UC400ETH produces correct positive pulses on pin 2 port 1, a stable X direction signal but also negative synchronous pulses on Y, Y-dir, z, ....

with the other axis it produces similar strange moves.

Does anyone have an idea? Is the firmware damaged?

... and sorry I had no time to introduce myselfe. The DIY router is consuming soooo much time. ;)

Thanks

Unfortunately I have no idea what can cause this, maybe more than one thing is configured to those pins.
A firmware damage cannot cause any issues, because the firmware is verifed on every startup of the UCCNC and if it is damaged then it is repaired/replaced by the UCCNC.

It's really strange. I connected my logic analyzer to pins 2 to 9 and got weird results on all pins. Then I decided to reinstall UCCNC and suddenly it works without the wrong pulses on other pins.
