i have to say i like the uccnc software, and the uc300eth board, this is my first with a setup such as this.
in the past i was building 3d printers and stuff, now i want to make something better
to start off, the motors and drives are this
http://www.maxymtechnologies.com/Maxym% ... Manual.pdf
http://www.maxymtechnologies.com/Maxym%20Support/Drive%20Motors/AlphaStep%20Manual.pdf
with the connector as such on page 34
the spindles are driven by :

http://www.maxymtechnologies.com/Maxym%20Support/Spindles%20Motors%20and%20Inverters/AC%20Tech%20SCF%20Inverter%20Manual.pdf
the router has a 2 spindles, marked "z" and "4"
my controller is the uccnc software and uc300eth, plugged directly to the machbob2 board,,,, port 1,2 swapped and port 3 remains 3.. to the bob..
So the question is , in the X-Axis setup page in the uccnc software, i have the step pin set to "2" port "2" / dir "3" port "2"
whichtranslates to bob output pins : xs-, xs+, xd-,xd+ to correctly wire this to the driver what pins on page 34 should be connected.
is it recommended to connect the encoder side of things up ?
below are the driver encoder output and pin numbers, but dont know weather to use the open collector or line driver outputs, and of course where to connect to the bob....
13 BSG1
14 GND
B-phase pulse output Open-collector
Output
15 ASG1
16 GND
A-phase pulse output Open-collector
Output
17 BSG2
18 BSG2
B-phase pulse output Line driver
Output
19 ASG2
20 ASG2
