How about "Override Value" or simply "Override" :)

I was a service engineer for large industrial machining centers and CNC for world wide company for over 35 years... never saw "Overridden" used.

Yes, it is. And what you can read in those DROs are the overridden values. :)

Yes, but the DRO shows the current override value so "overridden" being a past principal verb is incorrect. :D

No. This new DRO shows the overridden value. It is calculated from a base and an override value. The base values are Fset and Sset, the override values are in the FRO: Feed Rate Override and SRO: Spindle Rate Override fields.

Overridden = base * override / 100, because override is given in percents.

(This was my last post in linguistic. :))

Interesting debate, I agreed with each post until the next...lol
One thing for sure is (overidden + r = overridden)

A lot of great new features in this version thanks!!!

It depends on what context it's being used. The overridden value is the base DRO Fset and Sset number because it's being overridden. Therefore the override number DRO is the percentage of the overridden base number. :D

Base number to be overridden * override number / 100 = Override %

The word is right since the value it shows is the overridden value of the set spindle speed value.

Also right. Actually the overridden value is displayed in the SACT field of my machine. But the Overridden field shows the overridden value of the set spindle rpm, AFTER the override buttons are pressed. So it is right as it is also. Just misspelled.

I just love the green saving settings message!

Maybe just the letters OR would be better- as it looks a bit cluttered

Thank you Balázs! Spindle overridden Dro is a great new feature, and even better in 39 with it's tweaking.
