Tried

exec.JogX-()
exec.JogY+()

Doesn't work - canot read error.

Don't want to be a programmer, would just like a little help to do this one thing so that I have the same functionality that is built into my two other machines and most machines out there without any programming from me

Does your keyboard have a number pad? Here is an easy way.

Assign 7, 9, 1, and 3 to be your diagonal buttons, won't be hard to remember the pattern. When you set a number as a hot key, set using 'ctrl' or 'shift' (Or both together) at the same time, that way you won't lose number functionality. Assign 7 to 2 separate hot key lines at the same time, setting the button press for 'x-minus' and 'y-plus'.

repeat for the other buttons as diagonals, and even repeat to reassign straight x and straight y jogs to 2, 4, 6, and 8.

Done, and it is way faster than using the mouse and pulling open the flyout menu to click the button. Just hold 'ctrl - 7' and it jogs diagnal till you let go.

regards
Eric

There was at one time a glitch with hotkeys 7, ctrl_7 and alt_7 would all do the same function no matter what you had them set to. Whatever the primary key did all the aux keys would do the same function as the primary key did.

Just a thought in case your experiment goes sideways on ya and you can't figure out why.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have already set up the hotkey method to try.

As I have said my Mill and my router have diagonal onscreen jogging built in, as do a lot of machines, and I have got used to and like it that way and would have liked my new router to be the same.
Because I am not a programmer I find it surprising that it is such a difficult thing to achieve :o

My favorite Jog panel is the Estlcam one, 5 speeds on all axis

As I am not using B oy C perhaps use those and a bunch of diodes as a hardware solution, or I have a PLC in the panel and could use that to sort out the logic
