Midi not working correctly

Postby Delco » Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:25 am

Something has changed on my setup and i cant work out why .
When a program is loaded it runs fine , first command is g0x0y0 which sends it to the zero position .

If i type g0x0y0 into the midi the machine moves a few mm and stops . I cant move to anyposition such as y100 it just moves a few mm and stops ????

Any ideas?, prior to this i could type x64 and it would move there so donething mudt have changed ?
Using the latest prerelease with a axxb-e

What position (on the DRO's) is it stopping at?

Any position , start machine up , run homing cycle and then I normally select the coordinate system say g54 on the screen , then I normally issue a g0x0y0 on the mdi to go back to the last position saved (BTW DRO is not showing zero for G54 only machine coordinates) .

It used to work fine the only change I made to machine was to configure hotkeys for a num pad to drive jogging.

What hotkeys did you define? Watching your video I see that any time you type something in the MDI then a stop message appears in the status box. Maybe, you have defined stop on the enter key? Make a photo of the hotkey settings and show us.
