UCR201 USB wireless pendant

Postby Gene8522 » Fri Feb 22, 2019 5:51 pm

I received the UCR201 and installed the plugin on UCCNC 2017 screenset.
When ever I try to run UCCNC using the pendant, UCCNC 2017 will lock-up, stop running and freezes the PC.
The only way to get my PC to restart is to shutdown Windows, turn the power off and restart everything.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it.
If I remove the plugin from UCCNC 2017 it runs just fine! :!:

I've not seen anyone with this specific issue, but others have found the auto zero macros to not work correctly with the UCR201 plugin installed. It's being looked into by Dezsoe.

This may be the problem. Usually happens when I try to run the "Auto Home Zero" macro.

From your original post, it sounded like UCCNC wouldn't even run.

Balasz,
Several people using my 2017 screenset and the UCR201 have reported issues when using the auto zero macros, specifically, probe moves causing crashes, and random movements.

Yes I know about that and we have checked that issue out already, but could not reproduce the problem.
But I think Dezsoe is still trying to reproduce it.

Yes, I have already run a lot of tests, but without any issues. In the last days I got some profiles and they seem to run on UC300ETH, but I tested with UC100 and UC400ETH, so on the weekend I'll change my config to run with UC300ETH.

Gerry, I remember that you made some changes to some macros. Is it possible that they run some older version than me? Do you have the old versions of the changed macros that I should also test?

I tried for over two hours to identify and reproduce UCCNC 2017 freezing while using the UCR201 pendant that I might be able to share with the group.
I could never get the program to stop running doing the same thing. Seems there is not one thing that will stop the
program, it will just quit and lock-up UCCNC 2017 and forces me to reboot the PC to get UCCNC to close.
If I removed UCR201, UCCNC 2017 runs just fine.

How was it? And also, could you upload your 2017 profile for testing?
