As per title...

Looking for an easy way to transpose my neuron screenset to the ub1.... What's the difference?

There is no difference in the screensets. The screent is the same for the -UB1 and for the -5LPT motherboards.
And there is also only a very minor difference in the firmware, that the -5LPT using a different PWM frequency for the analog output signals than what is used for the -UB1.
We only separated the 2 screensets because the firmware had to be different, so even the difference is minor in the code the 2 motherboards has to be handled separately,
and because if in the future CNCroom wants to add their motherboard specific features/functions to their screenset then there is already a different entry in the screenset file, so it can modified without the need for modifying other screensets.

Thanks Balazs,

Does that mean that I could copy the screenset text from the 5LPT to the UB1 section and it will work fine? as I presume that uccnc does not pick up anything firmware wise from the screenset it's just the ports, pins, Leds, fields and buttons etc....

Hi Rob,

Yes, if you copy the -5LPT screenset's text to the -UB1 screenset entry then it should work without problems.
