Any version of UCCNC newer than 1.2048 is not going to be 100% compatible with the 2017 Screenset. New features may not work, and there settings likely will not be saved.
I plan on creating an all new screenset early next year to accommodate all the new features, allow more room for future features.

It may be 6-8 months before a new version is available.
The current version of the screenset will work with UCCNC 1.2048, but it may not work with newer versions of UCCNC.
So if you want to use the 2017 screenset, I recommend staying with 1.2048 of UCCNC.
It **should** work with newer versions of UCCNC, but any new features may not work.

I'm currently running 1.2106 with the 2017 screen, and it works fine.
But, you can't use the new G41/G42 or the Homeing backoff, because the controls for them are missing in the 2017 Screenset.

I hope this answers your question.

The new version, when I get it done, will be free for existing 2017 users.

I'll give you more money if it helps... $20 was a scortching bargain.

If only I could buy time....

The main issue is that I'm waiting for the next full release before I start, but I do have some other loose ends to finish up as well.

I'll put a donate button on my webpage if any existing customers want to contribute. Much appreciated.

You put the button up, and I'll click it.

And while I'm throwing coins down the wishing well, some more probing routines would be choice:

- A-axis center of rotation (like Path Pilot)

- X/Y find center of rectangle (X+, then probes along X doing Y- touches until it misses, and walks around the part)

- X (or Y) only outside find center (X+ touch, lift, move over desired amount, down, X- touch, set center as WCS zero)

And as we've discovered, my probe is fairly crash-resistant so I can guinea-pig again... :D

Work hardened indeed. I got the Hallmark ITTP just for this reason.

In my defense, most of the crashes were due to buggy probing routines or unprogrammed axis movements, but I'm not going to admit in public exactly how many times I've smashed that thing or tried to bury it in a part.

Let's just say if this were a commercial probe with a $50 ceramic stylus... I'd be closer to spending 5 figures than 4.

Best money I ever spent on the mill.

Just wondering if anyone has the 2017 screenset running on 1.2111?
And if so, so pros/cons...

I have my old version of UCCNC of 1.2047 and now 1.2111.
I don't mind the two versions installed, but it flashes firmware every time I load either one.

I just got a 4th axis and wanted to try out the rotary axis.
(I understand its not fully supported yet)

Thanks!

Oh, and I'll gladly pay for an updated version as well!
