OK, properly chagrined, I upgraded to 1.2112 today.

Only thing is, now I see these nifty percentage sliders and I want one for manually setting laser power!

Linking a textfield to a slider is no problem but how is it working with a % value? My test slider goes to 0 as soon as a percent sign is entered.

Yes. Sliders work only with numeric fields. Put the % on the backgrond and align your numeric field to right.

Yeah, that's how I've got it working now but I wanna know how the feed and spindle overrides are doing %!

They are hard coded to work that way.
