Hi,
as promised I wrote a guide and sent it to my friend (GP Proto CNC). He'll take care to send it to everyone who has the screenset.

Cheers

Hi Karengetang,
as I wrote some time ago I sold the whole project to a friend (cnc machine builder - GP Proto CNC). This project is no longer my property. Dezsoe did a great job with the probe tab in the test release 2109. There's a lot of work to do with the probe tab and I have to talk to my friend and see what he thinks. Thank you.

This is the downside of the constant development of UCCNC (which itself is great!). Custom screensets are constantly being made obsolete. In addition to the Probing screen, there are probably 25+ other features that have been added to the current test releases.

The Probing screen itself is quite complex, and adding it to a custom screen requires reverse engineering, then a LOT of custom graphics. This could easily take 25-50 hours of work, if not more.
For my screens, I'm leaning towards omitting the new probing, and going a custom route. Both to save time, and have more control over how it works.

As Gerry said the probe tab is quite complex. It's possible to add the probe tab, but the decision is not up to me. GP Proto CNC is the owner of the screenset.

I have been slowly and painfully been recreating many of the buttons to the style and resolution I like. I found the buttons and text to look a little blury on my large monitor. So I have recreated most of the buttons at double to X and Y resolution. I have also just started on creating a probe tab to work with 2109. I also have on my to-do list to add the tangential knife settings on the A Axis. I can't tell you how many hours have gone into this mod so far.

In case you can't tell from the screenshots, I have changed the way the LEDs look under some of the buttons to make them easier to see if they are selected or not. I have also changed the text on some buttons to better higher the selected function. And I have changed the Homed icons to make them stand out more. All these changed required be to recreated the buttons from scratch. A close and painful process.

What do you think of the button changes I have made so far?

I did the same thing for a few buttons.

Hi mayhem2408,
you did good job. As you know the screen resolution is 1366/768. When I designed the screenset I did it the way I like it. If i can help you with something don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks
