Here is a shot of a custom cylinder head I produce. Lots of drilling and semi rigid tapping. I use the probing macros terry wrote for me to do the initial setup on the 4th axis as well as locating features on the raw casting.

I contour machine all of the combustion chambers. .005" step down.
