virtual mouse mode

Postby Makingtoothpicks » Fri Oct 20, 2017 11:27 pm

Lately I have had my cursor change from the standard mouse pointer to a cross-hair.
I then see in the box where G-code is displayed the a message that I am now in
virtual mouse mode. I have to shut down UCCNC to get out so I can us my arrow keys
to move my machine along Z and Y axis. I do not know what key I may be hitting to
set this and what key shuts it off. I have the 2017 screen-set.

Thank You

Virtual mouse mode can be enabled/disabled with the TAB keyboard key.
In virtual mouse mode you can move the cursor with the keyboard keys and simulate a mouse keypress with the enter key. This makes it possible to use the controller without having a mouse.
This function currently can be always enabled/disabled with the TAB key, but in the next software release there will be an option to fully disable this functionality, I mean that to make the TAB key to not enable the virtual mouse function.
