Hi there, a few weeks ago my computer crashed, replaced it with a new one, downloaded and installed UCCNC, the latest version, but It will not run my cnc router
I use AXBB-E controller, when I start up UCCNC the little leds on the AXBB-E light up ( two green and purple/blue) but I ca not move any axis , the steppers lock up but no movement, I try to load a profile and it come up with the following text message and closes down:
The software was started with the /s CD08A1 command line argument, but a device with
This serial number was not found
The application will close now.
OK
Is there anything wrong with the controller? I tried to install and un-install the soft ware about six or so times and the result is the same, feels like there is no profile or it will not read any profiles, do I need to input all the pins and inputs again?
I have tried creating a new profile but the result is the same, any information will be greatly appreciated,
Cheers Nick

You need the license file with the serial number for the AXBB-E. Do you have it in a mail from where you bought the controller?

Setup the IP address of the network card of your computer.
Please follow the AXBB-E users manual, it describes how to do it clearly.

Thank you all for the replies, problem solved ( must be old age catching up) I just done an axis set up by filling in the step and direction pins and ports with the correct information and it worked, isn't that a miracle or what???
Cheers
