my micro pcs only have 2gb of ram and they seem to work fine on 64 bit.
for huge files i turn off the toolpath, but only did this once in case it caused a problem. (12 hour carve)

There's no problem with second hand stuff, just check them before use. :)

Went and installed a win7 x64 version , that solved the issue with loading the gcode but introduced a new problem.

Went in and setup the ip4 config same as all my other machines , used the util config in uccnc to check controller all good . when I try and load UCCNC I get a error lost communiation ?

Screenshots of config added

Reset controller by removing 5V and holding button down while restarting - no change
One thing I see is the ethernet is unable to identify it as a UC300 - just says unidentified network.

Cross referenced all my settings on my other machines - all the same
util program shows connected fine ?

I changed the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 as i noticed that was wrong - and validated . no change.

Tried the pc on anther working machine and it is the pc settings , causing the issue not cable or UC300

The only was I was able to fix the issue was to install win8 then it all worked with the exception still no toolpath showing but at least I have the gcode.

On your printscreen it can be seen that "the toolpath is disabled in configuration".
You will have to enable it to see the toolpath.

I disabled it to try and at least get the gcode screen to load , the main issue is the gcode doesnt show , I can live without a toolpath generation but need to have the gcode so I can go back an forth as required . Looks like I need a better computer :(

Still having issues with toolpath not showing on two of my four machines , What is the min graphics/CPU spec needed to display long filepaths.

I am using win7 and win 8 , on Dell optplex990 I5 8mg systems.

Most of the time toolpath is displayed if its a simple operation , once I get into 5 + hour operations with multiple parts no toolpath displayed.
happens most when I have one part multiplied 4-10 times on one or 2 workoffsets
