software closing after trying to load profile

When I open UCCNC everything appears normal. When I select the profile I want to use and click Load Profile UCCNC closes leaving windows open without UCCNC running as it should. Any and all advice will be helpful.

Loading a profile is not a good practice. It was, when it was developed, but since then many-many new features came into the program, like plugins, macroloops, etc. If you load a profile then you replace the environment under all of these stuff.

Instead of loading a profile, make a shortcut to start UCCNC with the wanted profile. Make a copy of the original shortcut, rename it as you want, then rigth-click, properties and after the .exe write /p yourprofilename. E.g.:

(If the profile name contains space then use quotes: /p "My profile".)
