Hey, that link/dwnld worked ! Great !
That let me install the 1.2109 version.
Then, when I go to run the SW, I still get the graphics warning of course but I also get the following and can go no further.
Is this related to the graphics issue ? or something else ?
Thanks again,
Russ

EDIT: I just realized that I was not prompted to re-start the PC after the install.
I'm wondering if that was necessary ?
If no response in the next hour, I will try it when I go back out to the shop.
Thanks
:)

I don't know what this exception is.
Can you copy the full exception text?

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Yes, it looks like an OpenGL issue. The exception says that the object reference was not set and the exception falls down to the OpenGL control which means that the OpenGL context could not be created, in other words the software could not create the OpenGL control for some reason. It is probably a video card driver problem, it is likely that Windows is using somekind of default driver which does not work properly.

OK, thanks cncdrive.
I'll report back after I correct the graphics issue.

Yeee Haaaaa !
I found a card in another old PC, NVIDIA GeForce ZOTAC 7200GS.
Plopped it in and all is good now.
On to the mechanicals.
Thanks again cncdrive and Gerry,

You can put the opengl.dll on uccnc folder. It's work on every program
