1.2033 not moving Z on 2d adaptiv with helical movement

Hi,

with latest post processor for inventor 1.2033 does not move the Z axis downwards on 2d adaptive with helical clearing
The DRO show downwards movement but Z does not move physically

I've tested your code with 1.2036 (Can test with 1.2033 only tomorrow.), have checked the Z axis step and dir signals with a scope and the signals seems fine, the Z axis steps are continously generated on the helix and the direction is downwards, so I see no problem.
I've test with a UC100 now, but if you will tell me which controller you have then I'll also test with that too.
And if you will post your profile file then I will test with your exact settings, will measure out the exact pins you have configured for your Z-axis.

We've managed to debug your bug report using your profile file and your g-code file and the result is that we do not see any problems.
The Z-axis step signals are generated properly as they should.
I'm attaching a print of one of our logic analyser measurements.

You can see that the Z-axis step pulses frequency are there and are about constant when the Z is moving on the helix.

And there are one thing which we've noticed is that you set the kernel frequency to 400kHz, but your settings do not justify this high kernel frequency.
The problem might be that your stepper drive can't read the step signals properly, because the 400kHz setting makes the pulses really short, most stepper drives can't handle this high frequency.

HI,

thanks for checking, a suggestion for the kernal freq ?, i got leadshine servos nema23. the machine is a bit flimsy it's just there to cut the steel for the real one ;D
