Handwheel XHC HB04 and probing with Gerrys screen 2017

Hello,
I have a wireless handwheel XHC HB04, but there is a plugin in UCCNC. Now I wanted to use the probing-screen from Gerry (2017) with my newly milled touch plate and have noticed, that you have to switch off the plugin, because otherwise there will be massive errors when probing. Each time the probe raced into my workpiece at full speed. After switching off the plugin there were no more problems. Unfortunately I have to do the moving with the keyboard of the computer at the moment. Therefore the request to revise the plugin please!
Best regards,
Pierre

There are other threads here where users had similar issues with probing and this plugin, and yesterday the issue with the UCR201 and probing.
Not sure if the two plugins share any code that could be causing these issues?

Gerry, do you think maybe the probing and mpg are looking for a field which is no longer in existence on your screenset (sorry don't have a copy).
I had a similar problem I think with the neuron screener I was dabbling with.... I removed all elements from the jog screen and then the screenshot went all funny.... I suspected that it was the missing jog % elements that uccnc was looking for but could not locate on the screenset so it threw a wobbly.... In the end I restored the jog tab and just reduced it's width to 1 pixel etc.... But kept all the components.....
In the documentation folder either in the macros html or the screenset html there is a brief note that field elements are pulled from the screenshot and if the field does not exist it may be a problem (I forget the wording....). I'll post the extract later when at a pc with the uccnc documentation folder

Everything works normally until the MPG plugin is enabled, then the probing macros stop working. Disable the plugin, and they work fine again.
And if you look at the other threads that reported this, I believe that some were using the default screenset.

Rob, it's a good idea to follow, I think. I'll try to do some tests, but it's not so easy when you have neither XHC HB04 nor UCR201...

I hope it does the same with UCR200 which I have.

Hi
As written in another thread, I'm having the same problems when using the UCR201 plugin. Disabeling the plugin solved my trouble auto zeroing.

Jan

Did you manage to try the UCR201 dezsoe? I´m really getting desperate to have this working.

Hi Jan,
Yes, I've already spent at least 2 days with trying to reproduce the issue with no success. I did not give up, but I have some other things to do too. (You are not the only one with this problem, there are other 3 guys too.)

Sorry all I know I've posted this one in here, but I was wondering what is your feedrate override set to on the screen when you run these probing routines with the 2017 screenset?
Is it possible for you to take a screenshot of your screen when you are having these problems?
I'm just wondering about something thanks,
