AXBB-E and Mach 4 not linking

Good morning,

Ive recently purchased an AXBB-E as I have not been overly happy with my SmoothStepper. I purchased with the intent to run on Mach 4 as i currently own that software and then try UCCNC and possibly upgrade to that if I liked it better. I did not realize that it does not link in demo mode and allow you to test it so I cant pull the trigger on that until I can at least get it to work with what I own. Ive gone through all the installation steps and I cannot get this unit to Link to Mach 4. No blue light, no recognition, no passing go. Funnily enough I have been able to get it to work with a demo of mach 3, multi axis movement, multiple input recognition.

Specs:
Windows 10 Home-Brand new install(Tried 11 as well)
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-LM
12v Power Supply-Check
24v Power Supply-Check
Mach 3-3.043
Mach 4.2.0.5036(Ive tried others as well)
Proper Ethernet Cable-Check

Is there a recommended version of mach 4, Is there a known issue that im missing with my hardware/software configuration, any help would greatly appreciated.

In Mach4, go to Configure > Control > Plugins, and activate the AXBB-E plugin. Then restart Mach4, and then you can select the AXBB as your motion controller, and it will connect.
I just downloaded the latest Mach4 Hobby, created a new license for my PC, and spent 30 minutes to figure this out.

Unfortunately Ive done that as well, it also shows that it's enabled on a drop down menu under Help.

Does UCCNC allow movement in demo mode or did I not understand something correctly. If it allows movement in demo mode I'm wondering if I have an odd dud of a board.

UCCNC in demo mode does not communicate with the board.

All Mach4 versions should connect in my opinion.
Do you see the plugin in Mach4 and can you enable it.
Please explain the issue a bit better and explain where you stuck, because it is not clear.

I can see the plugin, it's enabled but my link light never lights up and I have zero engagement with the unit. No input, no output, nothing.

Did you select it as the motion device after enabling it?

Well I did a fresh install and did a complete power cycle of everything and this time it successfully linked. I have full movement and input as I do in mach 3. Thanks for all the input, I'll post back should anything change.

You need to use a very old version of Mach4. You can find the link here:
