Firmware Updates Every Time I Switch Between Mach 4 & UCCNC

Every time I launch UCCNC after I've launched Mach4, the UC100 Firmware needs to update, and vice versa.

I have copy/pasted the latest UCCNC UC100 plugin files into the C:\Mach4Hobby\Plugins directory. Attached please find my .pro file. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

This is not a bug, it is normal. The different softwares require different firmware, because they work different.

Ah... Ok. Thanks. Uh, is there anything bad that comes from constantly updating the firmware, or should I just not worry about this?

After about 100 000 cycles the program memory of the controller will damage and then it will no more work or you will be unable to overwrite the firmware again.
For example if you will change software in avarage in every hour then it is 4166 days which is 11 years.

I hope to find a answer here ...
i have installed the UC100 on Mach3 , all works perfect..
Installing Mach4Hobby and installing the UC100 for Mach4, all works perfect..
if i switch back to Mach3, software asked for firmware update and the same if i switch to Mach4Hobby release 4.2.0.4612
buy a license for Mach4Hobby and update the Mach4Hobby to the latest version 4.2.0.4996
switching the first time to Mach3 ==> system asked for firmware update.
go back to Mach4 and nothing is happend anymore, UC100 is not working - connecting - no updating on Mach4 anymore,
changing back to version 4.2.0.4612 , still same problem
Can anyone help me to solve this problem..
