UC400ETH soft limit problem

Postby craig » Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:15 pm

I am having a problem with software limits. This is a 2 part problem.
1. I generally end my programs with :
G0 G53 Z0 M5
G49
G0 G53 X-14. Y-6.
M30

If i take out the G49, it will run the program just fine. With the G49 in there, it rapids to Z0, reads the G49 line, then moves to Z.01 and trips the soft limits and estops. The buffer is around 100% on the UC400eth i/o screen when this occurs. I have it set to 50k5z max pulse rate and 500ms buffer. If i put a little dwell after the G49 line (300ms), then it will run the program just fine. Its like the board isn't switching axis fast enough and the pulses are going to the wrong axis.

2. Mach3 should not estop when softlimits are reached. It never did this with parallel ports. The servos are de powered in estop and loose position. Is there a setting i can change so it does not estop?

Please try this test plugin and let me know if this fixed the problem?
