usbcnc and mach3 parallel installation

hi,
i am about to buy a 300eth controller. i might need some funktionality like tangential cutting or 4th axis which is i believe not yet fully supported.
is it possible to run both on a computer? if i need tangential mode i start mach3 if not i run uccnc?

Yes, ofcourse you can install both the UCCNC, Mach3 and even Mach4 on the same computer and then you can run any of the softwares any time. (Ofcourse one at a time with one motion controller)

thanks thats good news. i just purchased the controller and look forward to using it.
i saw some videos people milling with the 4th axis and uccnc. i just need to have indexed fourth axis. turning the a axis to a specific angle, do my 3 axis toolpath, go to the next a angle. is that possible right now? if yes, can i just take my step per unit from the mach3 installation for 1 degree rotation on the a axis?
