Firmware updates?

I'm setting up a CNC system with UCCNC v.1.2118, AXBB-E and also have a UCR201 pendant. In the release notes for 1.2118 it is mentioned about firmware updates on both of these HW's. But I can not find any info about versions and how to initiate these updates,,, are they automatic and done in the background or what??? I can see that my AXBB-E has v.1.0080 and the UCR201 v.1.010, is these the latest versions?

The AXBB-E firmware should update automatically when starting a new version of UCCNC that requires it.
I would think the pendant does as well, but I'm not positive on that one.

Yes, the firmware updates automatically in the AXBB-E and also in the UCR201, you do not have to do anything about it.

can the new ucr201 .dll be copied and used in older versions? my customers with these handsets are on 2.113
