Thanks. The arc was drawn in vectric, so i don't know why I would need to convert my arc to an arc. I noticed that there is an arc tolerance setting in uccnc that is default set to .10. Im wondering if I need to adjust that to a much smaller tolerrance??

in vectric. click on the questionable curve.
select node edit . shortcut N on keyboard.
does the curve have hundreds of nodes or just a few per curve?
if loads-convert to curves.
if just a few- adjust your cv settings to a higher tolerance.
i had a rare job recenty that my cv settings were way too tight to run. adjusted and run sweet.

Thanks. would a CV tolerance of .02" be to small? The factory setting was .10"

The factory settings are in metric, so if you use inches then you have to convert them first:
