Npn NO wiring help

Postby CNCChris » Tue May 16, 2023 11:30 am

In the manual it shows the sensor gets 24v to sensor and input + and sensor signal goes to input - and ground to 24v -

Isn't that just sending 24v positive to + and -?

Why not have 24v going to sensor and sensor signal wire to input + and sensor ground to input -?

I am wanting to wire 3 npn NO sensors XYZ into one input

Thanks.

I dont know what sensor you are refering to, but if it can handle 24 volts then yes you are supplying the sensor with 24 v on the + and -. Depending on what type of sensor you have the output will either go to 0 volts or 24 volts.

with it being a NPN then the signal will go to 0 volts when the sensor is activated.
