Probe 2 and UC-100

Postby Derek » Tue Dec 20, 2016 12:22 pm

Can you add Probe 2 to the UC-100 screen set. I was going to use an unused home pin (13) for the tool setter. I only use home switches on X and Y.

Thanks
Derek

Hi Derek,

I can't answer this question now unfortunately, because we will have to check the UC100 firmware first to see if it will fit.

Why I can't check it now is because my collegue who is the head of the API/firmwares development for the UCCNC had some holidays left this year and he pulled them now to extend his Christmas holidays a bit,
so he is already on holidays and I myself or other collegues could not make a 100% clear decision about this (or better to say it is better if we leave this on the collegue), so it is better to wait the next year start to answer this question with confidence.

And the Christmas holidays are close, our last working day this year will be the 22th (tomorrow), so if we can implement this then sure we can do it only next year.
Will start working again early this year, on the 2nd January.

Hope you have a good Christmas Balazs, and wish Daddy Balazs one too. Hope he enjoys his time with his little one.

And Merry Christmas to everyone else.
