Z drive help

Hello everyone new to this please help
I have just about all of it working went to run a test file and after I set all axis to zero hit the start button x and y did what thier supposed to do
But z axis went down inside of up to go to start position and tore thru the wood as it made a run the z axis always went up to cut deeper in the wood not down it’s all backwards
PLEASE HELP

Change the Active Low setting for the Z axis direction pin.

I think life will get a lot easier for you if you take the time to study the user manual. I did that with Mach3 and I did the same with the UCCNC manual.

Here's a copy and paste from the UCCNC user manual again:

Dir port & pin: Which is the physical output pin on the motion controller device for the step
signal. The signal can be configured active low or active high selecting or unselecting a checkbox
next to the field. Changing the active polarity of the signal reverses the axis running direction.
