OK, thank you.
Can you please test the attached one?
If it does not crashes on startup then please also test that if you clicking on the slider bar to change it's value a few time to see if it crashes then or not?

You either need an M5 before the M6 (preferred method), or have the M6 macro stop your spindle. Dan's plugin has nothing to do with tool changes.

maybe Im not explaining it properly.

When the code does a toolchange it uses the following ( manual toolchange )

N66368 G53 Z0.

(2D Adaptive6 (6))
N66369 M9
N66370 M5
(Move to tool change position)
N66371 G53 X40. Y55.
N66372 M0 (Pause program for tool change)
N66373 T3 M6 (flat end mill D=6. 6mm x 15mm 3F)
N66374 S18000 M3
N66375 G64
N66376 G54
now 95% of the time this stops the spindle , 100% of the time the relay that controls the water cooling is switched off So I assume the software is working fine but its a issue with the plugin and the new software update ?
To stop the spindle I have to manually start it using the button on the screen then stop it again , I am assuming that plugin didnt see the M5 command ?

Should I move this over to the plugin page ?

To stop the spindle I have to manually start it using the button on the screen then stop it again

This is the most important: you see on the spindle button that it turns off, but the spindle still runs? If so, then it's a plugin or communication problem.

Thanks Nikolay,

It is clear now how the problem happens and the funny thing is that it is not a problem in the UCCNC, but somekind of strange bug probably in the OpenTK library or maybe in your video card drivers.
Anyways I have found the workaround for the problem.
Will send you one more exe to test, but can do that only in the late afternoon today and if that will also work then I'll keep it like that. :)

I do not write drivers. I do not make video cards. ;)

Yes, I know. :)

I did debug this much time, because I did not beleive that this serious bug could exist in OpenTK or in the OpenGL implementation in the graphics card drivers.
I mean either of them is the case it is so serious that I thought that I'm overlooking something and that the issue is probably somewhere in our code, but with these debugings it is absolutely clear now that the bug is not in our code.
This bug is very similar to what we experienced with a Windows 10. update last year which made the OpenGL GUI to run very slow. That bug is also so serious that I first did not beleive that it could exist in an official Windows update, and I debugged for weeks and finally had to realise that yea, the bug is in the Windows updates.

And BTW, that old Windows update bug was later confirmed by Microsoft when I asked them about it and they said they will fix it in next release.
Now 1.5 years later that bug is still not fixed, it is still in Windows 10., but we found the workaround for it, so it is no more a problem for us.
It is a serious bug because it effects a very basic OpenGL command, a so basic command that probably most of OpenGL softwares have.
And this bug which we explored now is also that type of bug, it influances a very basic command of OpenGL.

I ran the latest Exe and it worked fine. I also moved the sliders and it did not crash. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit.
