Toolpath view

Postby RWC » Thu Mar 28, 2019 12:51 pm

Is there a way to rotate these 2 views to where the Z is UP ?
The way it now is looks wrong to me. (makes my neck sore  ) :)
Thanks,
Russ

I recall seeing this view briefly shown correctly in a video, not sure where I saw it though.
This is the way I'd like for these 2 view choices to appear. (pic)
Thanks again,
Russ

Hi RUSS, The 2 views you want to use are not orientated correctly and there is no way to reorientate them permanately.

The only way to get what you want is to select ISO view then right clik and hold teh right mouse button and rotate teh view to how you want to see it ( Z up).

Just a thought, (;-) TP

Thanks.
I usually just adj the iso view as you say.
I occasionally check these side views mainly for a quick Z ref illustration.
Seem weird the way it is. But, it is what it is. ;)
Cheers TP,

Here is the short video from the CNCdrive website.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDRVUR3 ... ATQ8bg558w

You can see the cursor as it steps through, one of the side views shows correctly but the other does not.
Neither of them shows correctly on mine.

Seems like that would be a relatively easy fix, but could be far more complex than I'm imagining. :)
Kind regards,
Russ
