OK great !
thanks for that clarification.
The macros were put in yesterday and are ready to go.
Soon as I get this wiring changed and connected.
Thanks so much,

I would also like to use wired MPG on my machine and I will need at least 8 inputs to connect this handwheel to BOB.

I already bought AXBB-E controller and extra BOB, but I think inputs will not enought. Can someone give some recommendations how to get more inputs?
(A, B/X, Y, Z/x1, x10, x100)

Thanks,
Juka

Hi Juka,
I need the same as you.
I think there are only 11 inputs available using the AXBB. 6 on port 2, and 5 on port 3.
Will watch for other suggestions (hopefully OTHER than going to another controller board) :?

How about an Arduino using Modbus?

Hi Gerry. Are you familiar with the Arduino ?
Which product would you recommend ?
Thanks

Hi Russ, IF you are not using teh analog inputs you can use them to run teh 2 rotary switches. You would set teh switches up as a string of resistors and measure teh voltage at each selection. The create a macroLoop to use teh values to make selections.

Just a thought, (;-) TP

That is a cool approach ! :)
I might just try that, will need help with the details, of course.
Thanks for the suggestion TP,

Modbus sounds Good. Is there any plug and play solution, pcb with terminals? I am now familiar with modbus yet.

Thanks,

There are many working open source solutions for Arduino Modbus, both serial and Ethernet.
