AXBB-E with CL57T (V4.0)

Postby Coyote94 » Mon Oct 09, 2023 4:59 pm

Hello,
I'm trying to use AXBB-E with CL57T drivers but despite wiring check, re-check any stepper motor move.
Regarding the whole wiring, I respected CNCDrive schema X PUL+ -> O9 etc..

Regarding driver wiring, I resigned this table to identify cables/ports

In UCCNC, the port indicators light up but only in negative values, nothing lights up in positive values.
Indicators stay on if I only press "-", as soon as I press "+" the port indicators go off.

Hereby my UCCNC config :

Leads/diagnosis carried out:
- Checking wire colors according to the table above
- Test with new 1m cable, I have 3m, on motor X
- 5VO connected to common 5V transformer then to 5V0 Port1. on board
- Disconnect all limit/homing/BAU from the board
- Change Kernel Frequency from 100 to 200kHz
- Disable all limit/homing/BAU in config
- Inverted A/B signal

Many thanks in advance for any help

That is correct. They are on when moving in one direction, and off in the other. The state does not change until you change direction.
I would double check all of your wiring, or at least post a pic or diagram of how you have them wired.

Even when I change direction ligh stay off.
I'll check again but I'm wondering if "ENABLE" driver should be connected, any thoughts about this ?

Hereby the full diagram, not sure you can see clear in this image.

Which version of CL57T do you have? You wrote 4.0 but on the photo in your first post there is a 3.0 (or other, but not 4.0). If it's really a 4.0 then you have an input level selector which is by default set to 24V and your outputs on the AXBB are 5V, so you have to change it on the drivers.
