Uc300 to TB6560 driver board?

Postby Jduke » Thu Aug 11, 2022 6:38 pm

I have wired 3 axbbe and have been happy with them.

I just picked up a small router with a 4 axis TB6560 parallel port board with integrated motor drivers.
I’d like to get away from the direct connection to an XP computer

I know that the UC100 is designed for this with USB interface.

I’d rather have the Ethernet interface as well as the option to upgrade later on with this machine.
So can I connect a UC300 to a parallel cable and directly to the DB25 port of of the TB6560 and then use either the licensed Mach3 or new uccnc license to control the TB 6560 with the UC300?

Thanks
Duke

Yes. There are two ports on the UC300ETH that you can plug your board into.
You might also consider a UC400ETH.

What benefits does the 400 have over 300?

Never mind looks to me like I can go directly from the 400 without a daughter board, although the opto isolation board, is probably a good idea.
