AXBB-E Axes not working.

Postby skidrowotx » Wed Aug 18, 2021 10:21 pm

I am not getting any movement on my steppers when jogging from UCCNC. I have checked all the grounds. I have continuity from A+ to A- and B+ to B- on all steppers
Voltage to the drivers is 60vdc. Steppers have holding torque but won't move. Limit switches and E-stop are working properly.

Is there a way to check the output voltages on the motion controller pins to determine proper operation?
This is what I have:
Port1:
Pin;
9 4.6v
10 4.5v
11 4.9v
12 4.6v
13 4.6v
14 4.6v
15 0v
16 0v
17 0v
Thanks for any help!!

this is also making me scratch my head. Not using port 3 but it show active pins. Does not show any active pins on port 1. Port 2 is accurate.

Show the axes setup pages, or post your profile file.
Do the DRO's change when you try to jog?

The DRO's do change when jogging. Got one axis working but only on pin 15, 16
The screenshot is typical of all axes.

You need to show all the screens if you want anyone to see if something is configured wrong.
My guess is a wiring issue.
When you jog back and forth, do the direction LED's change when you change directions? And are the step LED's flickering? If not, it's a configuration issue.

When Jogging the direction LED changes on X axis but not on the others. Step LED does not flicker on any of the axes, but X axis is moving. Also plugged X into the other stepper drivers and they will move with an X axis jog.

Here are the screens:

You have the kernel frequency set to 400kHz.
And you wrote that you have stepper drives.
I have never seen any stepper drive which could work with as high kernel frequency as 400kHz.
Try to set it lower, e.g. try it first with the lowest 25kHz setting.
