Thank you for your hard work. I picked up a pendant:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Axis-CNC-MACH3-Wireless-Electronic-Manual-Controller-USB-Handle-MPG-US-Ship/282987323308?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

and the plugin shows connected.

However using the pendant seems to have no effect. I used the USBlizer program and it does show communications when buttons are pressed.

Did I get the wrong pendant?

Here is the USBView file.

I have exactly the same pendant and it took me some time to figure out to get it working. The first thing you need to look at is down in the tool bar of your windows on the right when UCCNC is open you should see an icon of the pendant. Once you have this then the same window you showed in you post is the same as mine. But the key here is that when you open the MPG page on the left side of UCCNC by taking your mouse over to the left then click the MPG continuous and it should burst into life. Mine works fantastic and made the switch to UCCNC permanent!

Thanks so much. Really it was a head scratcher. I could not get the icon to show up; rebooted, downloaded and reinstalled, read the manual, etc - over and over. I finally saw the icon for the first time and turned on the MPG on the jog side panel and it worked!

Whew!

Hi Shad,

I'm currently migrating my 5 axis cnc controller to uccnc. I do own a WHB04B-6 and would like to use it. Will I be able to use your plugin for the -4 version to control at least 4 of the 6 axis or do I need a plugin that is configured for my 6 axis pendant? If changes must be made to the software I'd be happy to help, no matter how. I can do beta testing if it helps?

Cheers, Gunnar

Hello!
I am not testing plugin on the 6 axis versions, but think it's will work fine.
Just you can install UCCNC, WHB04B-4 Pendant Plugin and run in demo mode for checking.

Browsing purchase options for a WHB04B-4 pendant to use with UCCNC and this plugin. Usual suspects, Banggood, Aliexpress, Ebay.

I suspect, looking at pictures, that there are copies or fake versions of this XHC pendant.

I don't want to end up with a pendant that will not work with the plugin.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

Shad,

I noticed that when you first initialize the plugin/uccnc, and adjust the mode to continuous MPG Multi for example, the speed does not match the location of the switch. Flipping the jog speed switch through the speeds corrects the problem and the speed of jogging matches the pendant setting.

It's almost as if there's a default low jog speed variable set at initialization and only switching the speed switch does it pick up the accurate jog speed variable and start working as intended. I can't see what's happening nor do I know if you can probe the location of the switch but the troubleshooter in me tells me that the switch speed setting isn't probed at initialization.

Thank you for question. I will check it.
