Once you cam a file to be point of origin at say lower left then that is the only way you can cut that file. Unless you use the program extents to set say upper right to the extents values. But the point of origin will still be lower left.

We could add an option to make the controller register the machine coordinates when you turn the offline mode on and write the coordinates back when you turn the offline mode off.
Would this feature help you?

That would definitely help me. And I hope others too. I believe that approach would address every risk I can see with the offline mode.
