Running a macro in Standby

Postby Roby » Sun Apr 24, 2022 8:49 pm

Hi all,

I've written a macro to toggle a light on my gantry on and off (M21030), activated by a button much like in a thread I found on this forum.

For obvious reasons, macros only run when the machine is online (ie. not in standby/reset mode).

However, given toggling a light is not a dangerous operation, does anyone know if it would be possible to trigger the macro in standby mode? As-is, I get a popup saying the reset logic of the software is active.

It wouldn't bother me too much if this isn't possible, but thought I'd ask...

Thanks,
Roby

Write a macroloop, they can run while g-code is running. They are macros running in a loop.
